Taking care of my skin has always been one of my top priorities. Since I can remember, I have been washing and moisturizing my face daily! I have tried everything from Proactive to store bought brands, and haven’t found anything I’ve truly been in love with until now. I recently discovered a skin care line called Mumsie Natural Skin Care and I’m in love for many reasons! First and foremost, I love that this line is all natural and organic! At our home we try to eat/use all organic products (as much as we can afford right now lol.) Especially because I’m pregnant, I want to keep everything as natural as possible. The products are even made in a 100% solar powered facility (how awesome is that?!) You can feel the difference after one wash with the facial cleanser; it’s that amazing! I even caught Tyler using it, and now he continues to use it because he loves how amazing his face feels afterwards. I highly recommend these products even if you aren’t expecting (or a female for that matter!)
I’m also in love with their moisturizers, especially the lifting and firming night cream (which I also put on Tyler every night.) I’ve only been using it for a couple of weeks and have already noticed a huge difference in my skin! I love the way it smells and how it instantly makes my face feel so smooth, but not oily; by far my favorite moisturizer! One of my biggest insecurities right now is the dark spots I have gotten on my upper lip. My doctor said that they are from the pregnancy hormones and will fade after the baby comes, but they seriously make me look like I have a mustache!!! After using the daily and nightly moisturizers, I’ve definitely noticed them less! They are still there, but a lot lighter.
For my belly, I use both the oil and the cream in the morning and in the evening (oil first then the cream.) They are both AMAZING! A little goes a long way on these products and I love how they aren’t super thick and heavy. These both smell and feel so great! I burned my shoulders the other day at the beach (I forgot to put on sunscreen, silly preggo brain) and used both the oil and cream on them and felt instant relief. I personally think the ingredients say it all!
Stretch mark relief oil ingredients: avocado oil, macadamia nut oil, coconut oil, and sunflower oil.
Stretch mark relief cream ingredients: darutoside (a natural grade organic complex that has been used for centuries in China for its healing effects in the repair of wounds), avocado oil, shea butter, and honeysuckle flower extract.
Sounds amazing right?!
Anyways, sorry for the super long post! If you have any questions comment or email me at email@example.com! Thanks for stopping by!❤
Blogger superstar Brittany of “The Shinn Life” gave us a glowing review on our Mumsie Night Cream product.

Mumsie sent me a free full size bottle of their Lifting & Firming Night Cream in exchange for my honest opinion + feedback. I was so excited to receive this because I am an absolute skin freak. I have been using some sort of anti-aging product on my face since I was sixteen years old after my Spanish teacher in high school (who looked twenty years younger than she really was) told the class her beauty secret was starting an anti-aging skin regimen before she started showing signs of aging.
When the experts spill their secrets, take it to heart.
Now most of the VoxBoxes I see from other bloggers + instagrammers are black. I was pleasantly surprised when this box arrived and matched perfectly with the contents inside. (Branding is extremely important, and they didn’t let me down here).
The outside of the box reads “Wake up skin that looks younger, lifted & firmer”. Yes, please!
I’m also really loving the pump nozzle on the bottle. I cannot tell you how many brands have amazing products but didn’t invest in a distribution method that really works. The pump on this gives you the perfect amount of lotion on the first try.
- Love the pump!
- This is a generous amount of product they gave me for review purposes! Thanks, Mumsie!
- I’m not a huge fan of the scent, but it isn’t overpowering and it doesn’t linger. Plus, this stuff is natural & organic so you really can’t expect it to smell artificially sweet if they leave all that (nasty) stuff out :).
- My skin doesn’t feel oily or cakey after application.
- I didn’t immediately feel any extreme tightening, but I did feel my skin firming up after application.
I’ve been officially using this product for a week. I feel like I really need to give a product time when reviewing so I don’t leave an overly positive or negative review without giving it a chance. I can say I’m extremely happy with this one! My skin does feel firmer and I can really feel the difference in hydration throughout the day. While I don’t see any life changing differences in appearances yet, my skin does feel much softer to the touch and firmer. I can’t wait to see what it feels like after 30 days of use!
If you’re interested in purchasing some for yourself, you can pick this up at your local Target store (convenient, huh? Plus, who doesn’t need an excuse to go to Target!?). A 2.5 oz bottle runs an affordable $16.99 at Target, which is a competitive price in the anti-aging industry.
Are you a skin freak, too? What’s your favorite anti-aging go to? I’d love to hear your feedback, below!
Camilla from the blog “Navy Grace” mentioned mumsie products as a must have for any baby registry wishlist.

” Well I can finally tell you some advice for the first time on this Baby Registry Wish List.
Up until now everything you’ve seen for the baby is things that were recommended to me, or just highly rated.
But today I wanted to share many things that I feel are a must to have during Pregnancy and of course being a new mama.
Oils and Creams
I haven’t reached the point where I have got any stretch marks and I am hoping to keep it that way. I found this Mother’s Special Blend and started using it when I was about 13 weeks pregnant. I put it on every morning after the shower and after applying my daily lotion.
I also have been mixing in the Mumsie Stretch Mark relief oil since it has a few extra ingredients than the Mother’s Special Blend.
I even started using the cream version of the Mumsie Stretch Mark relief product at night time right before bed.
I tell you, I don’t want those stretch marks to come!!
Good Skin Care Line
I recently was approached by Mumsie. Which is a skincare line specifically for pregnant women. I have only been using it for the last couple of weeks, but I will say, between using the products and getting a facial my face has cleared up! Thank the angels above!! I haven’t always had the best clear skin, and pregnancy hasn’t helped it by any means 🙁 So right now, I have been using the Daily Facial Moisturizer, Gentle Cleansing facial wash, and the Lifting and Firming night cream from Mumsie. I have been very impressed, plus the smell is amazing! “

NEEDHAM, MASS. — A skin care brand designed specifically for the needs of pre- and post-partum women is launching a new line of facial products.
Mumsie is unveiling two new additions this spring to its popular skin care family: a daily facial moisturizer with mineral sunscreen and a lifting & firming night cream with natural CoQ10. Both products are formulated safe and effective for pregnancy, breastfeeding, and for the years of sleepless nights after a child is born. All of the items in the Mumsie range are cosmeceutical grade.
“We’re just shocked that any consumer would use a chemical sunscreen nowadays with all of the data out there highlighting the various dangers associated with them,’ says Jamie Leventhal, executive vice president at Clio, “but we’re even more concerned to see pregnant or breastfeeding women using them as well.” Several clinical studies of oxybenzone, avobenzone and other chemical sunscreens, showed direct links to their use and low birth weights in babies, cancer, hormone disruption, mimicking the effects of estrogen and triggering developmental abnormalities, and free radical damage, amongst several other risks.
The Mumsie daily facial moisturizer with SPF 15 uses a non-nanoparticle titanium dioxide (deemed the safest sunscreen active ingredient on the market today) and several other natural and organic ingredients to soothe and hydrate the skin while improving the appearance of uneven skin tone, blemish marks and roughness often associated with the various phases of pregnancy.
CoQ10, a natural fuel for cellular energy that boosts skin repair and regeneration and reduces free radical damage, is uniquely infused into the Mumsie lifting & firming night cream.
These two new products join the Mumsie lineup that includes a leading stretch mark relief oil, stretch mark relief cream and gentle facial cleanser – all 100% natural, 70% organic and void of harmful or irritating chemicals, parabens, sulfates, phthalates and dyes.
The entire Mumsie range will be available nationwide beginning in April at all Target stores and at several other major retailers in North America.
Hilaria is healthy and glowing & her skincare routine faves include Mumsie. “Mumsie stretch mark cream…I am a body cream fiend and this is a good one!”
